Roller
blinds
are a common type of blind. They can be fairly basic;
however they can be very practical and long lasting.
Due to these blinds
being simple in construction, they are easy to use
by just pulling the cord which can either be located
on the left or the right. If fact they are very
durable, they are excellent for rooms such as the
bathroom where window furnishings need to withstand
high levels of humidity.
Venetian Blinds
are horizontal slats that are lowered using a cord.
With venetian blinds you can easily adjust the amount
of light that comes into the room. Of course, this
makes them very practical for an often used room
such as a bedroom or living room and provides an
attractive, sophisticated modern look.
Vertical
blinds are similar to venetian blinds; however
these use vertical slats as opposed to horizontal
ones. Like venetian blinds, vertical
blinds can be twisted to allow varying levels
of light into the room whilst at the same time provide
an air of privacy. These are well suited to rooms
with large windows like conservatories.
